I’ve been dipping my toes into newborn photography lately, and it is a whole other art form. Thankfully I had a lovely, sleepy model to practice on for this in-home session. Happy birth day sweet baby E, welcome to the world!
I’d really been itching to do a snowy magical winter session this winter so I signed up for a workshop through Ironwood Wolves http://www.ironwoodwolves.com/ to photograph their three fox ambassadors in lovely Lancaster, Ohio. Typically I stick to human portraits but I couldn’t resist this unique opportunity. The foxes had such distinct personalities and were wonderful to watch up close. Here are the resulting images, hope you enjoy!
My daughter’s new favorite toy is the Nutcracker musical snow globe she got from her grandparents for Christmas
Winter is one of my favorite seasons for photographing
I couldn’t resist putting my three year old in this amazing flower girl dress the moment it was in my possession. I love her post-nap grumpiness in juxtaposition with the grandeur of the dress. This was a completely candid session, taken on a whim, hence the disorder of her bedroom in the background. She is practicing to be a flower girl in her uncle’s wedding this summer.
